Abstract

When running a business, everyone wants to earn multiple profits. A company's profit margin can be maximized with statistics. This study was conducted to determine whether statistics could be used to maximize a company's profit margin. Mathematics, particularly linear programming and statistics will enable us to figure out how to maximize a company's profit margin. As well as being used to determine where to maximize profits, we can also use it to analyze the capabilities of each machine in a factory and what products are most profitable for the company. Through interviewing and computing the maximum and minimum profits earned by every machine using linear programming. Furthermore, the data is then calculated to determine which products generate the most profits. As a result, our data analysis indicates that the most profitable infeksi propolis honey product was the 100 ml product. Rimba Raya Farm's monthly income in 2021 has a mean of Rp165.549.208,00 and a median month of Rp169.761.750,00. Using a linear program, in order for the Rimba Raya Honey Farm to get a maximum income of Rp10.750.000,00, it would have to sell 500 bottles of 600 mL infeksi propolis honey and zero 250 mL infeksi propolis honey bottles. Linear programming and statistics are both tools that can be used more extensively to increase revenue for companies. Keyword: Linear programming, statistics, honey, income, profit
