Abstract

There are many factors that can determine the success of a business company or an industry. One of the most important factors that might set an achievement of a company is the amount of production, which is also one of the big considerations for PT. Lautan Natural Krimerindo. PT. Lautan Natural Krimerindo is a big company which has produced many kinds of products, especially Fiber Creme which is their featured product. The aim of this study is to know the connection between the amount of production and income, and the use of the mathematical method to determine the maximum profit based on the production of PT. Lautan Natural Krimerindo. To effectuate this study, a meeting with the representative of PT. Lautan Natural Krimerindo was executed through a zoom online meeting. Then the data from the meeting was processed by using a mathematical method which is a linear function. From our calculation and analysis of data, it can be concluded that there is a big connection between the amount of production and income, and mathematical methods are very helpful for the industry. This suggests that the use of mathematical methods, especially linear function, can be recommended for calculating the amount of production for industrial needs.
