Abstract
Ready-to-drink (RTD) products are often consumed in the daily lives of many people due to their affordable price, availability, and convenience. The ready-to-drink products manufactured by PT Mitra Alam Segar are well-known and loved in Indonesia. Ready-to-drink products are readily available to buy in various retailers across the country. The purpose of this research was to find out the packaging process and the composition of ready-to-drink products at PT Mitra Alam Segar. The data was collected through interviews and direct observation. The research found that the composition of the drink are relatively the same even though the sweetening agents used in the drinks vary based on the product type. Although more thorough research is needed to understand the temperature controlling and disinfection process, our findings suggest that the ready-to-drink products produced by PT Mitra Alam Segar are safe to consume and adhere to commercial product hygiene standards.
