Abstract

PT. Sinar Indochem makes commercial animal feed, mostly chicken feed, which is their major product. In terms of animal health and wellbeing, proper animal feeding is critical because this has an impact on the manufacture of safe and highquality animal-derived products. The purpose of this study is to understand the raw materials and nutritional content contained in animal feed in order to determine the quality of which animal feed is good for consumption. This research was conducted in the laboratory by analyzing all the nutritional testing processes related to crude protein, phosphorus, and fat in animal feed. When observing, it is important to note certain key details for collecting data. Questions and answers were also conducted to obtain information that was still lacking in detail. Then, the research data will be processed qualitatively by referring to the existing theory. The results revealed that finisher broiler feed produced by PT. Sinar Indochem is a quality product in terms of nutritional content, although research results show that its calcium composition is a bit below the Indonesian National Standard. The conclusion is animal feed products PT. Sinar Indochem as a whole is referred to as products of high quality and safe for consumption.
