Abstract

Honey is a sweet yellowish or brownish viscid fluid produced by various bees from the nectar of flowers and used as food, which has a lot of nutritional benefits in it, such as amino acids, minerals, vitamins, enzymes, and others. Nowadays, the majority of the honey consumed by people is the processed one. This study aims to explore the honey processing process and the quality of the purity of the honey processed by the Rimba Raya Honey Farm. Initially, we conducted a literacy study to find out more about honey in general. Then, at Rimba Raya Honey Farm, we did our research by making observations and doing interviews. The result of this research indicates what we should do to make honey in its best condition, such as the harvesting place, laboratory test, and storage condition. Currently, getting honey with maximum quality is very difficult. Even so, we are still able to get many nutritional benefits from honey.
