Fertilizers can be divided into two categories: organic and inorganic. Organic fertilizers are produced from the remains of living things, while inorganic fertilizers are made from chemicals. This research was conducted through an online meeting with PT Petrokimia Gresik, which is one of the largest fertilizer producers in Indonesia. PT Petrokimia Gresik provides various kinds of organic and inorganic fertilizers as agro-industry solutions, which are going to be completely analyzed by XI MIPA 3’s Chemistry Team during the research. This study aims to answer two main problems: the process of fertilizer making at PT Petrokimia Gresik and the main chemical elements that determine the quality of PT Petrokimia Gresik's fertilizer products. This study uses mixed methods to obtain datas, quantitative and qualitative datas. In collecting datas, the researchers use three methods, namely literature study, observation, and interview. Researchers collect the datas through various literatures first. Then, the researchers conduct bservations and interviews to get more in-depth data. Based on the results of data analysis, the researcher concludes in three parts. The first part being several types of fertilizers which PT Petrokimia produces: Phonska NPK Fertilizer, ZK Fertilizer, Kebomas NPK Fertilizer, NPK Noble Fertilizer, NPK Ningrate Fertilizer, and NPK Nitrate Fertilizer. The second part is the Fertilizer’s production process where each type of fertilizer has their own production place, and is conducted differently. Furthermore, each type of fertilizer produced by PT Petrokimia Gresik contains different chemical elements, functions, and benefits. Keywords: chemistry, fertilizer
