Abstract

There are numerous rumours that chickens are injected with various types of hormones. People said that those chicken are unhealthy because it is injected with those kind of hormones. To leaen more about this, the school conducted an excursion program to find out wether these rumours are true or not in one the biggest chicken industries, PT . Charoen Pokphand Indonesia TBK. We used observation and interview method to gather information about the truth. The time we got there, they directly disagree that all chicken was injected with hormones. The fact showed that the chickens were raised using selective breeding was not done here in indonesia which because it is not something that Indonesia’s scientist are capapble of. That is why we suggest that we sould improve the quality of the education in Indonesia so that we can do the selective breeding by ourselves.
