Abstract

Every village in Indonesia certainly has its own uniqueness with different geography conditions. Because of those different geography conditions, as a result every village has different nature’s beauty potentials and different demography conditions. This social-cultural study based on geography aims to provide detailed information to the readers about a tourist village. With a virtual visit to Nglinggo Tourist Village held by SMAK St. Louis 1 Surabaya, Nglinggo’s geographical conditions and demography conditions were obtained. Not only that, but also the advantages and disadvantages from Nglinggo’s geographical condition were obtained through virtual observations and interviews with interviewees. The advantages such as Nglinggo’s nature beauty, it is managed well by Nglinggo’s natives and it becomes a tourist attraction towards this industrialization era. And, the disadvantages such as Nglinggo’s natural disaster potentials especially landslide which is really prone to happen there. Finally, all of the data are analyzed, processed, and compiled into a single unit of analysis which then processed and formed into a research paper. In conclusion, after the research that has been conducted, Nglinggo’s Tourist Village should optimize it’s natural and human resources to increase tourists’ interest.
