Abstract

In this pandemic, one of the most things that is needed is a strong immunity. We can maintain and strengthen our immune system by drinking supplements. That is why we choose a company which focuses on creating values in the healthcare sector. PT. Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sidomuncul Tbk. is a company that mainly works in the health industry, especially in Indonesia’s herbal supplements “jamu”, which produces brands such as Tolak Angin and Tolak Linu. The aim of this study is to find out the application of the physics concept in the manufacture of products. The result was gotten through a presentation from the company and question and answer sessions by zoom. In addition to that, we also looked for information through the company website. The concepts of physics which were used in the Sido Muncul factory were energy, heat, and global warming. These concepts were used in both factory machines and in waste management. From this study, it can be concluded that the concept of energy, heat, and global warming can be used in the business world especially in the field of production and it can also help students connect the dot between theoretical physics and the application of physics.
